Meet the Lauderhill Team Behind TruePane Windows & Doors
We’re a small crew by design. Every technician who pulls up to a Lauderhill home has trained under Dale Kessler’s standards, and most of them have been with us for years. We hire locals who understand South Florida weather, know how salt air and hurricane season treat a window frame, and take pride in work that holds up. No subcontractors. No rotating cast of day laborers. The person who measures your opening is the person who installs your window, and the person who answers your call knows their name.
Our People
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been setting glass in Broward County for 19 years, the last 11 of them with TruePane. He started as a helper on commercial storefronts in Fort Lauderdale and moved into residential because he liked the precision of it. Marcus is our go-to for complex impact window retrofits and anything involving structural openings. He’s certified through PGT’s installation program and has completed manufacturer training with Andersen and CGI. When he’s not on a ladder, Marcus restores old fishing reels and takes his grandson to the pier at Dania Beach on Sunday mornings.
Rosa D., Senior Installer
Rosa joined TruePane six years ago after a decade in finish carpentry, and her trim work is the cleanest we’ve ever seen. She handles most of our sliding glass door and patio door installations because she has an eye for how a door should sit in its track, how the rollers should sound, how the reveal should look from ten feet away. Rosa is certified in impact door installation and has completed Marvin’s factory training for their sliding door lines. She keeps a small vegetable garden in her backyard in Sunrise and brings extra tomatoes to the shop every March.
Sheila V., Service Coordinator
Sheila has been the voice on our phone for eight years. She grew up in Lauderhill, went to Boyd Anderson High, and knows the neighborhoods the way only a local does. When you call about a fogged pane in Inverrary, she knows what you’re dealing with before you finish describing it. Sheila schedules every job, confirms every appointment, and calls the day before to remind you we’re coming. She’s the reason our schedule runs on time. On weekends she volunteers with the church food pantry on Broward Boulevard and runs a small cake business from her kitchen.
Devon P., Apprentice
Devon is a year into a four-year apprenticeship with us, following the same path Dale’s father started decades ago. He came to us from Atlantic Technical College’s construction trades program and has already earned his basic impact window certification. Right now he’s learning to measure openings, prep job sites, and understand how different frame materials react to heat and humidity. Devon is quiet, careful, and asks good questions. He’s also the fastest caulk gun in the crew when the moment calls for it. Most Fridays you’ll find him playing pick-up basketball at Central Broward Park.
One Standard, Every Job
Every one of these people works to the same rule: if the pane is not true, the job is not done. That means square openings, proper flashing, correct fastener patterns, and no shortcuts when the weather turns hot or the day runs long. We register both warranty layers in writing before leaving a job site. If something is not right, the Done Right Promise means we come back and make it right, no paperwork fights, no arguing. Dale checks the work himself when he can, and he hires people who would do it correctly even if nobody was watching. We stand behind it.
